Another break through for Google?

      Google has yet again let the world know it wants some action in the technology world too.  Weeks after announcing Google Chrome, a new web browser, Google is set to launch it’s new operating system, Android.  This comes at a good time considering all the drawbacks the Microsoft phone OS’s.  The new google OS should be compelling, not only because it is new and people are always drooling over new things, especially from Google, but it also should bring many different applications, which again users love.  It will employ open source software which of course means FREE and everyone loves that.  

      The biggest problem will be keeping up with Apple’s new 3G phone, which employees it’s on software.  Everything at this point is speculation, soon the truth will be known and people will be bashing and loving the new OS.  Here you can read more.

Computers Not Always Great

             life without computers would seem to be horrible for almost everyone.  Everywhere we go there are computers surrounding us.  They play a big role in everyday life.  Sure, they help us in many ways, but is it possible that computers can hurt society or decrease productivity?  One would think not, but in many ways computers can get in the way.  

        For example, almost every school has some computers if not a vast amount, and students, kids to teenagers, are using them constantly.  They can be used for educational purposes but also can distract students at the same rate.  Today there are loads of information on the web.  Kids can check email, myspace, facebook, play games, or watch pretty much whatever they want on youtube.  These are all great aspects of the Internet but can be highly addictive and can steer students away from the most important concept: Education.
